The theme announced for the first round of middle school elimination is pound cake and Team Ichigo comes up with some great cakes that highlights each of their individual strengths and styles.
Ichigo makes a strawberry pound cake.
Andoh makes a macha and nut poundcake.
Kashino makes a chocolate and nut pound cake.
Eventually, Hanabusa is able to force out a rose pound cake that isn't quite right...
I think it's Mocha, not Macha, for Andou-kun's pound cake.

DeleteThanks for the feedback. Andoh, during the match, does make a coffee cake that is probably mocha but for the practice, before they changed their theme, it was definitely macha. The green color of the cake confirms it. ^_^ Good eye though! ;)

ReplyDeleteI just watched that episode and for Senno-kun's cake it was black tea...not coffee...gomen...but you got everything else right...I'm going to a school next year for cooking...once I learn some...I'm going to try all the recipes from the show... using this site and others.

This show is what made me want to be a Patissiere and also it made me remember a promise I made with a childhood friend.

I was looking up french words on google and your word fraise is just another word for strawberry... like Ichigo means strawberry too.
